Most people never think that they will
need In Vitro Fertilization treatment in order to have a family.
Therefore, the costs involved usually aren't part of their
financial planning. The cost of IVF and the outcome's uncertainty
may prevent many people from pursuing their dreams of building
a family. To help more people become parents, Atlanta Center
for Reproductive Medicine, in cooperation with IntegraMed®,
a nationally recognized network of fertility centers, is pleased
to offer the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program as an alternative
administered by an outside source.
How Does the Program
Work?
The IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program,
sponsored by IntegraMed®, limits the amount of money at stake
for the comprehensive treatment plan and provides a guaranteed
refund should the IVF treatment not be successful.
This program provides that eligible
patients may attempt up to six (6) IVF cycles at a fixed,
discounted fee. When you take a baby home from the hospital
IntegraMed® retains
the full fee.
New Program For Egg Recipients
The latest enhancement to the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program offers all Egg Donor Recipients who
enroll in the program a 100% Refund of all program fees should treatment not result in taking home a baby.
What If I Do Not "Take
Home A Baby"?
Should the outcome be unsuccessful,
or you elect to discontinue treatment, the majority of the
IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program fee will be refunded by IntegraMed
America.
Why Don't All Centers
Offer a Shared Risk Program?
A fertility center must have higher
than average success rates to have the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program.
IntegraMed® only allows centers that are among the highest
quality nationally to offer their program. Physicians accepted
into IntegraMed's elite network must pass a rigorous review
process and be approved for participation by their Council
of Physicians and Scientists.
Does Treatment Differ
for Shared Risk Patients?
Treatment plans do not differ for those
patients participating in the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program and
those who elect a traditional fee-for-service approach.
How Can I Qualify?
If you are already a patient at our
center, just ask a nurse or Patient Account Representative
for information. You may also submit your information for
consideration directly to IntegraMed® at www.yourivf.com or
by calling 1-866-YOURIVF (968-7483).
The guidelines for patient participation
include age, medical histories, and lab results. IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program participants must be able to finish
six cycles of In Vitro by their 38th birthday.
Patients over the age of 38 may be considered based on other screening factors and qualifications. We will review the application of a 38 year old taking all other guidelines into consideration. Approximately 70% of the patients who apply for the IntegraMed® Shared
Risk® Refund Program meet the eligibility criteria.
Is The Program A Guarantee
of Success?
Although the IntegraMed® Shared Risk® Refund Program does
not guarantee a successful outcome, it does guarantee that
the majority of your money will be refunded to you should
treatment not be successful.

financing programs for all types of fertility treatments are
